Record Breaking 2022, A Quacking Day!
Massive Thanks go to everyone who made Middle Rasen Duck Race on New Year's Day, the biggest and best yet!
There was a great turn out in lovely weather, with people coming from far afield, to watch the event. A record breaking 1,100 ducks entered the race and together with the raffle and donations, a total of £1,319 was raised, which will ALL go to local worthy causes. We welcome suggestions for this to Ron Folgate on 01673 842100.
The winning duck, with a prize of £100 donated by Ben and Nigel Appleyard went to Rod Hine. Special thanks also go to Martin and Tina Scott whose duck came 2nd, winning £50, which they immediately donated back to the fund. A full list of prize winners and those who very kindly donated a total of 42 prizes is listed below.
Prizes were randomly drawn for ducks and also a raffle held at the White Swan, Market Rasen following the race.
